Policy

Registration only becomes valid upon receipt of full payment. Participation will be confirmed approximately 10 days after registration deadline (10th June, 2009). Cancellation should be made in writing. If registration is cancelled after the registration deadline the Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland have to withhold any payment made. If registration is cancelled less than 10 days before the start of the course and full payment has been made it will not be possible to reimburse for accommodation or meals. The course fee will be forfeited unless the place can be filled by another participant from a possible waiting list. Non-attendance or belated cancellation will mean that the participant is liable for all the costs (course fee, accommodation and meals). The organisers are not liable for any of the participants' instruments or valuables.

Concerts may be booked separetly (concert pass). A Concert Pass does not allow access to the masterclasses or workshops. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. The Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland takes no responsibility for any applicant during the festival period. Young persons must be accompanied by an adult.

All masterclasses are open to the public to attend. To perform in any masterclass you have to be on the classical guitar course. The workshops however are open to the public to attend.

The Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland reserves the right to change event listings without prior notice. The listings are correct at time of print. Please contact the venue of festival office before arrival. Please note that all under 18s are not permitted by law in the late night venues.

Conditions of Sale (These conditions do not affect your statutory rights)
1. Every member of the audience must have a ticket.
2. Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
3. Late admission is not guaranteed but will be offered whenever possible.
4. Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland reserves the right to refuse admission to any patron.
5. Unless otherwise stated, glasses, bottles, cameras and recording equipment etc are not allowed in the venue.
6. Mobile phones, pagers and watches should be switched off before entering the venue.
7. Ticketholders enter the venue at their own risk and assume all responsibility for their property.
8. Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland reserves the right to cancel any performance without prior notice and without being liable to pay any person any compensation or damage other than a refund of the face value of the tickets held by them for any cancelled performance.
9. The right is reserved to add, withdraw or substitute artists and to vary advertised programmes as necessary.

Concessions
Concessions are available to patrons who produce suitable identification to Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland Box Office, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.
Concessions are available for students, patrons aged 55 or over, and the unwaged.
Concessions not requested at the time of booking cannot be allocated later.

When purchasing or collecting tickets from the Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland box office you will be offered the opportunity to provide your contact details for our database.
This database of information is used to keep you informed about Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland and our programme of events. You will also have the chance to opt in or out of offering your information to other key cultural organisations and partners connected with that particular event.
